District Musicians is a professional Music in Healthcare company specialising in creating music for and with individuals living with dementia.
​
Founded in 2018 by musicians Sophie Fishwick and Nick Davis, District Musicians was born out of their shared passion for using music to improve the lives of people living with dementia.
 
Sophie and Nick first met in 2017 during an apprenticeship with Opus Music CIC, a pioneering organization in the UK known for its innovative approach to integrating music into healthcare settings.

Today, Sophie and Nick bring their music-making sessions to people living with dementia wherever they are—whether at home, in the community, in hospitals, or in residential care facilities.
